Looking into her soft brown eyes, could he deny the God whom he loved and served above all had brought her to him without cause? Where would his loyalty lie; with the religious Order he believed in and fought for, or the woman he came to love?
Was what they both felt in their hearts enough to question all they had ever known, and turn their backs on both their people? With such a high price, was their love strong enough that they could both bear the sacrifices they would have to make to test fate and see if their destinies lie together or apart?
